Bespoke Staircase Design

The stairs in both spaces are the centrepiece of the interiors. In particular, the main stair is a triumph of design and engineering to provide a spectacular space in the centre of the house. It is widely admired I know, by both client and all those who have visited the property. The stair and bridge in the small barn are elegantly detailed with tactile handrails and totally in keeping with the character of the old structure-yet adding modernity. Working with Bisca, as ever, is a joy.

Just back from the property; the staircase is all but complete – finished tonight. It is stunning and very organic! I am delighted- the team on site this week have been so helpful and enthusiastic, it has been a pleasure to work with them. Obviously a big thanks needs to go to the designer and every member of the team, all I need to find is another client who needs a Bisca staircase, as sincerely hope that I can incorporate the “Bisca magic” in at least another of my jobs.
