Job Specification: Business / Commercial Administrator

You will have the confidence to work with and support a range of stakeholders including Bisca’s senior management team; clients; architects; interior designers; and suppliers alike. Attention to detail is a prerequisite, while being responsive and able to solve problems are also essential aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities – Business / Commercial Administrator
Taking care of the customer lifecycle; responding to enquiries by telephone and email; and qualifying these to facilitate the sales process
Providing regular project updates with departmental heads and external stakeholders including clients, project partners and suppliers
Managing the diary of Bisca’s managing director and providing efficient and high quality administrational support on a day to day basis
Coordinating the fulfilment of staircase commissions, setting up meetings, processing actions and communicating effectively
Preparing sales data and generating monthly reports for analysis and review against company targets and expectations
Organising site tours and welcoming guests or clients on arrival when visiting our HQ premises
Compiling written sales documentation including powerpoint presentations, email responses and quotations
Inputting data on our customer database, tracking progress of sales opportunities and proactively managing a customer’s experience
Taking care of client after-care, preparing thank-you packs, requesting customer feedback and booking in follow-up calls
Setting up photo shoots of installed staircase projects, briefing the photographer and processing images
Monitoring the fulfilment of training modules by staff and overseeing the onboarding process of employees
Tracking time spent on client projects and highlighting anomalies against expectations to maximise profitability

Based at our HQ premises in the quaint market town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire, the position is full time with the following working hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 17.00pm / Friday 8.00am – 15.30pm
